Dragon Con, a comic convention. My most recent book is the steampunk series, Lady Mechanika, and I was inspired to do it by all the steampunk cosplayers I'd been seeing at comic conventions, especially at Dragon Con in Atlanta, as well as the steampunk craftsmen who were creating these great steampunk gadgets. I thought the look was very interesting and I wanted to do my own take on it, create a world with that Victorian look and feel with steampunk technology like airships and automatons.
