I'm currently (as of March 2025) working on a rewrite of my first novel (from way back) and also starting a new psychological project based on the idea of "liminal spaces"

Well, part of me wants to say the world of "Hitchhiker's Guide", but the planet was kind of destroyed in the first book so that's probably not the best answer.

The first thing you write won't be perfect, and maybe it won't even be good. What's important is that you start writing it. Also, perfection isn't something you should strive for, you should push yourself to be the best that you can, and make your final draft as good as it can be- but if you solely strive for perfection, you will never be happy with what you've written.

For me, the best thing about being a writer is that feeling when you either finish the project, or even just hit a milestone. I love that feeling when I finish a chapter, and it's significantly amplified when I sign off on the entire novel!

My reading list is always fluctuating- I tend to shuffle through thrillers/mysteries that are available on good reads pretty frequently.
