I do not get writer's block. There is never "nothing" to write about. There is always too much. The problem is choosing what to sit down with and commit to. The solution is to commit and then edit.

"The Witch of the Wood" came from the idea that "the witch" could be a beautiful shape-shifter, evolving according to the needs of others. I wanted to merge this with an apocalyptic image, so I found a way to link the witch with the visual of every tree in the world falling down at the same moment.
