While driving down a two lane highway at night and approaching a hill, a man dropped his cell phone onto the floor of the car, near the break pedal in front of him. He reached down to get it, fumbled with it for only a moment, but when he finally raised his head, all he saw was the bright headlights of an oncoming truck, before he died.

There are several diffent places depicted in "The Hobbit". I guess Rivendell, where the elves live would be the best. It is a place where people are healed and find joy. Kind of like Heaven.

4/17/2025 - I have struggled with depression and anxiety since I was a teenager. Does the way I think cause the terrible feelings? Or, do the terrible feelings, cause me to think the way I do? When someone definitively can solve that mystery, I think it will go a long way towards helping people deal with it or even cure it. Medications help with the worst of it, but it's always there.... or close by. People that have these conditions will be interested in reading that book.

4/17/2025 - I'm supposed to receive Eye of the World (Wheel of Time, 1) tonight from Amazon. That's the next book I'm going to read. Have heard good things about it from friends.
