Bob Kern A picture I have on my sports memorabilia shelf of me and my grandmother. She has a Velcro cap on her head covered with Velcro wrapped balls from a game we played on a family vacation. She was in her seventies then.

Bob Kern Book 4 of the We Were Soldiers Too series, "The Cold War at Sea and at Home." "Memories of Mammaw", a book on my close relationship with my grandmother and having to watch and care for her as dementia got it's deadly hook into her. A Christian children's book is also coming soon.
Bob Kern Don't be scared. If you have been thinking about writing or have always wanted to write, then just do it. It's really easy to self publish so there is nothing keeping you from fulfilling your dream of writing but yourself.
Bob Kern My main project is the We Were Soldiers Too book series and I have got to meet and become very good friends with some amazing veterans from this project. I am a nonfiction author so I get to revisit lots of memories while writing my other personal books.
Bob Kern I have been fortunate and haven't had to deal with this issue yet. Sometimes I might not feel like writing on my main project and will spend some time writing a chapter or two on one of my future books just for a change of pace.
