I'm an author, that sticks mostly to the genres of mystery, elevated suspense, and one of my books has a paranormal slant. All of my books are character-driven, told with a mix of suspense, humor, and heart. I'd consider my books dark(ish), nothing that should keep you up at night but could get your heart beating a little faster and the pages turning a little quicker. Themes I often gravitate to are family (in all its beautiful, messy glory), complicated relationships, and friendship.
