How do you deal with writer’s block?
Jamie White I like to step away from the computer and take a walk or listen to music (sometimes both at the same time). It helps to clear my head and work through story issues.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Jamie White My most recent published story was inspired by a dream I had that made me think of a woman burning at the stake.

My most recent completed manuscript is paranormal/supernatural and was partially inspired by a commercial I saw for an MTV show.

Jamie White Inspiration has come from all kinds of places: dreams, songs, real-life experiences with the paranormal.

Jamie White Right now, I am working on a story involving time travel. It's actually a sequel.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Jamie White Read as much as you can, both fiction and writing guides. Read blogs on writing, and put the advice to the test. If it doesn't work for you, disregard it.
