I am obviously very new to writing, but when I am stuck on a chapter, I skip it. I move on to the next part of the story I know I want to write, and come back to the blocked section later. Sometimes I realize that chapter is completely unnecessary. Other times, because I know how the story will progress, it's much easier to write the relevant information and plot details.

Currently working on the sequel to Choke. It's more of Adrian and Lex's history, explaining how they became the people they are today.

I based it (loosely) on my relationship with my husband. In our early years, we were toxic and chaotic, and I think I did a solid job of putting that into Choke.
