I usually tell myself that I am a good writer, and today I will write something FANTASTIC! Or I tell myself to just sit down and try writing for just five minutes. That's all. Just sit down and get back to the story. That's usually all it takes.

When I meet someone new, I use their quirks or life experience for a character. And I am never alone. There's always a pesky character chatting in my head!
