Not a question but....? I just finished reading your book under Italian skies and I love it so much, I think your my first favourite author lol, I've thoroughly enjoyed books in the past but never to the point of being bothered to even look at the authors name. Your book honestly makes me want to go to Italy. Also I find it so cool that you live in Auckland to. Love your work, thanks for an awesome read :)

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Nicky Pellegrino Getting emails from readers saying how one of my novels helped them escape to Italy for a short time during a time of stress or illness or unhappiness. That's the power of story and the best reason to read or write.

Nicky Pellegrino Write the kind of book you want to read. Don't wait to be in the mood...just sit down and do it!

What are you currently working on?
Nicky Pellegrino I've just finished a new novel, Under Italian Skies, that will be released in April 2016. Right now I'm marinating ideas for another book and looking forward to taking some time off to rest my brain over summer.

How do you get inspired to write?
Nicky Pellegrino Generally I'm inspired because I have a deadline and it seems like a bad idea not to meet it!

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Nicky Pellegrino A book isn't one idea, it's lots. I find them everywhere - things people say or do, the way I feel, documentaries I watch, music I listen to. The world is full of ideas; it's just a matter of noticing them.
