Not a question; simply a thank you? We are about the same age, and your accounts of watching cheesy tv movies like "Sarah T:Portrait of a Teenage Alcoholic" and sitting through classic weepies with your Mom brought up a lot of memories, good and bad. I too have watched my parents writhe in pain in a hospital bed, feeling powerless, whispering "I'm sorry" and wishing I could be a fore of nature like Shirley Maclaine.
