Congratulations on the amazing response to Last Bench I haven’t read it yet, but it’s definitely on my list what would you say readers connect with the most in the story?
Ram Halady There are many things that resonate with the readers. Some of the things are universal, e.g., community coming together to help each other, as the 1970s were pretty similar everywhere - lack of opportunities, existential crisis, social challenges, and the search for understanding what is right and wrong. The other thing for many has been nostalgic rekindling of memories their growing up. Some readers have said that it is like holding a mirror to see themselves in similar situations... Hope you like the story and have your own impressions about it, and you can share with a review that can be seen by all. Thanks!
