will you keep writing books from the south of spain or will you also take your heroine to other parts (North Spain/Portugal/France) ?
Esther Knight Hi Marita. Toledo is Rebecca's home base, and I plan to keep her there most of the time. However, Segovia is a place I want her to visit — it's northwest of Madrid — and I also have trips south planned to Seville and perhaps Córdoba. Further afield, I want to take her to Egypt and possibly the Holy Land.

What mystery in your own life could be a plot for a book?
Esther Knight In 1987 my grandmother—who was a librarian—gave me a Winnie-the-Pooh box set. To this day, I can’t remember why. It wasn’t my birthday, and she usually never gave gifts. But that makes it even more mysterious—and more precious. I still have the vintage set, and I cherish it.
