I love all your books, but I was wondering when you might be getting the next book out. I know that the crew were going to stay at Starflake for awhile. I was hoping the next book would be coming soon. It is such fun to sit and relaxe and read about their adventures. Are they getting a new Polar bear as part of the new crew? Well, please let me know, because I would like to order my copy now.
Doug L. Hoffman Glad you like my books. I'm currently working on the next T'aafhal Legacy novel, Pleiad Found. As the name implies, it is a continuation of the voyage that was interrupted by events on the Starflake. Some previous characters rejoin the crew as they go looking for the mysterious T'aafhal in the M45 star cluster, also know as the Pleiades. Many questions will be answered, but the answers won't come easy. I hope it will be out by Christmas. Again, thanks for being a reader, tell your friends about me :-)

Hi Doug, are you going to continue the T'aafhal Legacy? I really loved the series. PLEASE keep them going I would like to eventually find out what happened to the T'aafhal. Thank you Chris
Doug L. Hoffman I have already started on the next book in the series, Pleiad Found. In it you will find some closure on the fate of the T'aafhal, and the whereabouts of Captain Jack & the crew of the M'tak Ka'fek. Thanks for reading my stories.

First is "The Queen's Daemon" a sequel to "Ghosts of Orion" this could be direct story sequel or just timeline wise it comes after? Second do you have a website about all your books rather than just TRE or does that site have a section for this that I just haven't been able to find?
Doug L. Hoffman The Queen's Daemon is the second book of the T'aafhal Legacy series and picks up the story of Capt. Billy Ray Vincent and crew about a year after the events on the planet Paradise chronicled in Ghosts of Orion. While there are some references made to the things that took place in that book, and a few to things in the T'aafhal Inheritance trilogy as well, TQD can be treated as a stand alone story. GoO established the main characters for this serise and as such it would be useful to read before TQD, but not essential. Of course, you should read all of my books starting with Parker's Folly for deeper understanding of the whole T'aafhal universe. What are you currently working on?
Doug L. Hoffman The Queen's Daemon, another adventure in the T'aafhal Legacy series where the crew of the Peggy Sue encounters a war between alien species fomented by minions of the Dark Lords while searching for a T'aafhal artifact. This one will have battles in space and on an alien world.

How do you get inspired to write?
Doug L. Hoffman Papers in science journals like Nature plus stories from history. I try to imagine new science in space opera stories like those I loved in my youth.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Doug L. Hoffman Mystery horror movies like the Blob. I wanted to do something other than a space war shoot 'em up like the last three books. The book I'm working on now is a return to form.
