The full moon rose, and my mate's scent hit me like wildfire—familiar, undeniable, fated.
The only problem? I killed him last year.

Oof, this is impossible to pick — but I’ll try.
It would either be:
Rita’s in Velaris — drinking all the wine, dancing with Amren and the bat boys, and let’s be honest… I’m probably going home with all of them.
The Shattered Plains — training to be a Windrunner under Kaladin Stormblessed, on the cusp of speaking my Third Ideal (and probably crying about it).
Apartment B4 in the Monroe Building — falling in love with the chef Aunt Analea sublet to during the summer seven years in the past (because good food is foreplay after all).
Blunder — contending with the Shepherd King living in my head while hunting Providence Cards with Ravyn. Slightly terrifying… but I’d risk it.
Or… I’d be tangled between #CaSher at a Night Walker party during the Annual Summit of the Regional Collective of Pacific Northwest Packs. Might not survive it… but what a way to go.
Honestly, all I really want is wine, magic, some emotional damage, and morally complicated men. Is that too much to ask?

I’ve got a very on brand summer reading list this year — heavy on the witches, weirdos, and things that probably bite.
I’m definitely jumping into V.E. Schwab’s Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil (because Schwab always delivers vibes).
Counting the days until I can get my hands on Ryan La Sala’s The Dead of Summer, which feels perfectly unhinged and summery.
Can’t wait to continue The Summoner’s Circle with Ascension by S.T. Gibson — morally gray chaos? Say less.
And I’m rereading Mona Awad’s Bunny to mentally prepare for the sequel We Love You, Bunny, because that book lives rent-free in my head.
And of course… I’ll be sneaking into both the eBook and paperback editions of my debut novel FATED — shamelessly fanning myself over those CaSher scenes and the wolves that started it all.
Basically, it’s feral girls, unsettling magic, mild existential dread, impossible bonds… and my trusty vibrator.
Summer reading? Handled.

Honestly? The greatest unsolved mystery of my life is what my cats are plotting. My babies have the sweetest, most cuddly faces, but I’m positive they know more than they let on. Some days I think they’re judging my writing. Other days, I’m convinced they’re trying to summon a demon. Either way, there’s definitely a book plot in there—probably paranormal, definitely full of fur and betrayal.
