How do you deal with writer’s block?
Benjamin J. Nichols Insomnia. A lot of my most creative solutions to being stalled have come about after midnight staring at a dark ceiling.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Benjamin J. Nichols I write on my phone. I can literally write anywhere as long as I have juice in my battery.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Benjamin J. Nichols Do the work. There is no substitute to trying. I've never considered being a writer. I have thoughts, I explore them which leads to questions. I answer those questions as interestingly as possible

Benjamin J. Nichols Book two of the Demon Singer series

How do you get inspired to write?
Benjamin J. Nichols My imagination runs on automatic. I can't slow down my brain. Ideas pop up every where in my life. Writing has given me a way to explore and develop those ideas in an arenai find fascinating.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Benjamin J. Nichols I'm a Christian who loves fantasy and magic and wizards and whatnot. I've been confronted by Christians who find those things evil and non-Christians who find Christians narrow and judgy. The idea for this series stems mostly from my imaginings of how - as a Christian - trolls and goblins and vampires and magic might exist in the world God created.

It's probably important for me to note this is fiction. Just a story for fun in a world limited by the physical and spiritual laws of our world.
