The idea for the book I just finished has been in my mind and on the back burner for several years. However, I expanded the topic to make it more interesting and appeal to a wider audience--and it's better because the work has a super original spin with my pawprint on it.

Not difficult to find inspiration. I have a busy mind and crazy imagination with a dash of self-deprecating humor to keep it real. But traveling, past and present, is my muse. As a twenty-something penniless hitchhiker with a dog to a baby boomer who goes out of the country via in style--both modes of experiencing other cultures fuels my need to share.

I have officially departed Superfoodsland, my seventh book for the Healing Powers series. It's onto number eight...but a few weeks or month to regroup and plan a trip to Canada for new stories!

Write a story because you have a need to do it. But note, do not put words on paper and think about if the work will make money or succeed in the literary world. Leave the busine$$ and fame wishes out of your work. Instead, reveal your inner thoughts with passion. And let destiny pave the way of being an author.

Ugh! The block. I've learned you can't force the words or it won't be genuine. So, I do everything but write. That means, swim, clean the house, walk the dog, and travel. Read: Live life!
