John Irby I don't mind doing ARC reviews, but I have conditions: First, no swapping of PDF, EPUB or Word files. I notice you're on KU and Eve's Gathering of Friends is on KU. If we proceed, I ask that you download my book from Kindle to review it. I would do the same for your book. Second, I've checked out your book, which is a YA fantasy. My book series (My Adventures With Eve) is adult in nature - an exploration of three couples who journey into polyamory together. Because of that, there are some erotic scenes. Third, many reviewers focus on if they like the plot and characters - but that's not what I usually do. When I ARC, I prefer to focus on new authors who are willing to accept constructive criticism about writing quality and what could be done better for their next book. I rarely challenge an author's plot line(s), or characters. I accept the story 'as-is'. So thanks for reaching out...
John Irby Cinematic trailer videos for my books would be great if I had enough money to spend (on a fixed income). But if you could send me a link to your work, I'd like to check it out.
John Irby The beach is my refuge. The sunshine, the water and the clean air soothe my soul. I had my first date on the beach with my wife and we fell in love there. We're still happily married after 50 years, proof of the magic of the beach.
John Irby What happened to the TV controller!
John Irby Whatever is on Kindle Unlimited. That allows me to check out books and has led me to some surprisingly good books that I wouldn't buy otherwise.
John Irby Saint Barths, which is featured in my second novel, The Ballad of Gina & Andre, is a pretty cool place. I'd chill in the sun.
John Irby The ideas for my books came to me in a vision. A beam of light shone down on my head from above and inspired me.
