The identity of my mother. To survive during the holocaust she changed her identity and was then raised in a monastery. To this day I can't find documentation of her true family background.
Great question.

Hi Maire, thank you so much for reaching out to me, and for looking into my work. To your question: Yes, there's something I can't do to save my life: Sing!
Uvi Poznansky
I don't. They live in me and take over.

The best results, by a long shot, is when my books are promoted on BookBub.
Other than that, I have a good size following on Twitter--nearly 26K followers--and a good presence on Facebook, which I rely on. Also, I have a Bargain&Free page on my blog, where I offer books not just by me but by other authors as well. So be sure to check it out:

I have no access to any mailing list on Goodreads, let alone the Audio-Bibliophiles one.

Oh thank you Candice, great to hear your voice. I just throw all of me into every little thing I do... Complete immersion. Writing does not wear me out--rather, it's the balancing act afterwards, to sustain all my projects and think about ways to bring them to the attention of readers.
I love placing my books on all channels, and if you consider doing so, may I suggest using Draft2Digital (instead of Smashwords.) The process is much easier on their site, there are no strange, unnecessary limitations, and their help facility is quick and painless by comparison.
And one more thing: I upload 2 versions of each of my books to their site, why? Because one version is for Apple (they require no competitor links in the back matter) and another version is for B&N, Kobo, etc (they have no such limitations.)

Dear Mary, great to hear from you! I checked out your book, Temptation, with a truly striking cover and an intriguing book description, so as to be better informed about your work.
So first let me tell you about the product page: your publishing company should make sure that Amazon displays the 'Look Inside' feature. Without it, readers are not able to get a taste of your writing, and therefore, why would they buy the book? So approach Page publishing and put the pressure on them.
Second, let me tell you that you must publish your book not only in print format, but also in ebook format. This is where most sales are. (try Draft2Digital.com to publish your ebook edition. You will need to upload your doc file, and off you go.)
Since I am an Indie author, not sure I can impart any wisdom about finding an agent. I don't have one, and I see more and more traditionally-published authors decide to go the Indie rout. Why? Because that's the best way of having full control over the publishing aspects, and because in today's literary world, if you are up to learning the ropes, you have a fair chance of making it in the fight.
The most important lesson I learned is this: publishing is easy, once you learn how to do it. What is an on-going challenge is reaching out to your readers. This is something I constantly think about.

Thank you so much Shiva for offering me your work. Unfortunately I am overwhelmed with writing my novels and promoting my work. I wish you all the best with your book.

Oh hi Aaron! So sorry I didn't find your question before!
I haven't started on The Edge of Revolt yet... Too many projects... It's on the back burner for now.

Hi Santanu! All my books are available in all formats. Please check out this link: http://uviart.blogspot.com/p/books_2....
For each one of my books, it lists the ebook, audiobook, and print editions. So under the ebook section you will find kindle (mobi) as well as nook (epub) and apple (epub) formats.
I hope this helps. Thank you for writing to me and if please let me know if you have more questions.

Hi Miriam, first of all I am so glad to know that you would like to read my novel, it's such a rewarding feeling. Now, to your question:
The ebook edition used on the Kindle is in .mobi format, and that on the nook is in .epub format. You can convert it using free online converters, such as:
There are many others. Once you have it in .epub format, then your Nook will handle it fine.
If you have any difficulty with this, the best is to contact me and I'll see what I can do. Friend me on Facebook, then PM me, and I will be happy to help. For example, if you buy it on Amazon and show me a receipt, I can email you the .epub edition of Apart From Love.
Hope this helps.
All my best,
Uvi

My best advice to develop your writing--besides reading a lot--is this: read your story aloud in front of a live audience. Listen not only to their comments and suggestions, but more importantly--to their breathing pattern while the story is being read. Are they holding their breath at the right moment? Do they burst out laughing, or wipe a tear when you intended? If not, you must go back to the drawing board and adjust your sentences.
