At any rate, my brain is always thinking about characters and what-ifs, to the point of it possibly being a psychological disorder (not really). I also participate in online writing challenges for fun. Sometimes I get entire new book ideas from that!

I've been fascinated by the varieties of religious faith for years, and curious about the psychology behind it. Catholic mysticism is especially fascinating to me. I am a Christian myself, but am always asking questions. "Ball & Chain" feature a few characters with widely different types of faith, and no faith at all.
