Hi, I am loving the Eden books! ! I have nearly finished the second book and I don't want it to end.. I have loved reading these looks so much that I've nearly cancelled going out with my friends just to keep reading! ! Are you working on any other books??
Helen Douglas Glad you're enjoying them! Yes, I am busy on a new project which I hope to complete this year.

Hi, I just wanted to ask if you are working on any books at the moment, or if you are planning on working on any books in the near future. Loads of people (including myself) enjoyed After Eden and Chasing Stars. It has been a while since Chasing Stars was published. In the foreseeable future, are you planning to write any books?
Helen Douglas Hi Ambar. Yes, I am. I have one book with an editor at the moment and another one in first draft stage. It never ceases to amaze me how long it takes to write, edit, submit, edit again and then publish a novel! Of course some writers/publishers are faster than others. I hope to have something ready soon! Watch this space :)

Helen Douglas Hi Olivia. Thanks for your question, and - don't worry - your question makes perfect sense. You're absolutely right: his name was a play on words. As it happens, you're the first person to mention it! (And I was worried it was too obvious.)

Hi! I just wanted to say that I really loved After Eden (and just so you know I am not a fan of reading so the fact that I am so obsessed with this book is shocking haha!) It was amazing! I was wondering if Chasing Stars is available in the U.S.? And also, this probably won't happen, but have you ever considered turning After Eden into a movie? I just think it would be awesome. :)
Helen Douglas Hi Kaitlyn. Thank you - I'm pleased you enjoyed After Eden. Chasing Stars is not available in US bookstores, but can be ordered online from Amazon. As for the movie idea, I'd love it, but that's out of my hands - a film producer needs to decide they want to make it into a film!

Helen Douglas Hello Sarah. Thank you - I'm pleased you liked the After Eden series. In Chasing Stars the story moves to a new locale so we don't hear any more from Connor, Matt and Amy. All I can tell you is that Connor doesn't become a celebrity and doesn't discover anything amazing. The rest you will have to imagine for yourself :)

Will there be a 3rd part in the After Eden series? I would love to read more :)
Helen Douglas After Eden was conceived as a two-part series, and for now it remains a duology. But I could definitely imagine writing a third part one day . . .
