I watch a lot of movies. The feelings that transcend from a scene will sometimes inspire me to write. A beautiful scenery will inspire me to write. I can look out my back door at the landscape of trees and meadow and it will inspire me to write.

My family plays a scavenger hunt game at Christmas to locate one of their presents. I thought it would be fun for the main character to have a similar hunt to solve a mystery.
