Write what you know. Draw from past life experiences, traumas, adventures and use it as fuel to write something amazing. When one does this, their work becomes more passionate and the reader can tell the words written on a page are more. They are words written out of real, raw emotion. That's what makes a reader relate to a story. Thank you to my middle school teacher for sharing this advice with me.

The frustrated author grabbed for their coffee only to realize the cup was empty. Slinging the cup across the room in a fit of rage, they heard someone scream, learning they'd hit their wife in the head with the cup.

It's actually in my book Mira already. From growing up in a bad environment, to bonding with my Uncles' and finding the love of my life. I just had to take those moments and fictionalize them a little bit.
