Judy McDonough Cade and Caroline, of course!
Judy McDonough Hi Lurleen! I'm shooting for October. :)
Judy McDonough Most of my story ideas come from dreams. My most recent book (not FLATLINE) came from a dream, and it's wonderful. I can't wait to write it!
Judy McDonough I watch a movie or read a book for inspiration to create my own drama-suspense-romance filled story.
Judy McDonough I get to use my imagination every day. I work from home, stay in my PJs while I sip my coffee and write, and sometimes I don't even wear a bra. :)
Judy McDonough 1. Don't stop writing, especially if it's because of something someone said to you or about your writing. Opinions vary, so don't let the crappy opinion of one person spoil the wonderful opinions of others you could create through your stories.
2. Don't ever think you are above learning more about writing. When you think you are as good as you can possibly get, that's when the rug will be pulled from you and you'll get a huge lesson in humility.
3. Go to as many writing workshops and conferences as you can.
Judy McDonough Flatline, of course. I have some people anxiously awaiting book 3 of my saga. :)
Judy McDonough I usually become inspired mid-conversation with someone when s/he says something that sparks my imagination. Or, when I'm hearing a story of something that happened to a friend of a friend or family member and I think, "Man, that's be a great story to write about." Lately, though, my story ideas have been inspired through my crazy dreams.
