I am currently writing an alternative medicine book on a skin condition called Darier's disease. I have a PhD in Integrative Medicine and started writing the book when a family member was diagnosed with this condition. I have other books on Parkinson's disease, Sleep disorders, Diabetic Neuropathy, and Huntington's ataxia. Each book started with a question from a client. I am always looking for solutions for my clients.

I love playing with words and different languages and seeing how learning a word in a different language can expand one's thinking. Awakenings Peace Dictionary, Language and the Mind explores the nuances in the word for "peace" and what it says about the culture that grew that language. A Woman's Place in the Dictionary looks at the word for "woman" in various languages and how each meaning is a little bit different. My current project looks at color words like red, gold or purple and what that color word means and what the color itself means in various languages and cultures.
