I have no mysteries in my own life to use, but I sure do have fun thinking them up for my books! I does make me wonder, however, if at some point in my life I have had what could be called a mystery and the idea ended up in one of my books. Who can tell?

If you're talking about in the books I've written I would have to say Patrick and Kate from Solitary Tears. They were such a fun couple to write about and I loved 'watching' their relationship grow. In other books, I'd have to say the old, old book, Mrs. Mike, which was the very first book that I read. It totally turned me on to reading, and I loved how hard life was and how they worked together.

I try to relax. Writer's block can and does keep the creative juices at bay. I find if I relax, spend some me time and read or watch a movie, or spend time with my husband the block dissipates after a day or two and I'm back at it. Not always as easy as it sounds, especially when a deadline is close!

Coming up with a new story is the most exciting part for me. It's such a feeling of fun anticipation!

Read, read, read, then write, write, write. Get really good editors to proof your work (which came later in my writing career) and people who love to read and appreciate the craft of writing, to beta read the books and give sound feedback.

Currently I'm working on the second book in my Justice For All series, Military Privilege. A story of secrets and how people can spend their lives protecting them.

I believe it would be a sense of danger and adventure. I admire our protective services men and women, be it military or FBI, NSA, or CIA. I'm totally inspired by someone caring enough about others that they would place themselves in the line of fire to protect others.

My ideas all come from the same place: inside my head! I get an idea for a story that pops up in there and I start typing. If it's a solid idea, that movie starts rolling and I'm off!
