My goal is to read 6-8 books this summer. That should include two Miriam Black books by Chuck Wendig, plus The Girl in the Spider's Web, Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology, a reread of 1984 to prep for teaching it in the fall, and whatever else I can squeeze in.

How about V and Evey Hammond (V for Vendetta). Or David and Maddie (Moonlighting). Or Batman and the Joker (definitely the kind of hate there you only get from having a relationship).
