Sorry, I didn't see your response to this until just now. My apologies. I had a big epic story plotted out for this and unfortunately, most publishers won't publish a 1,000 page book from a first time author it's pretty cost prohibative for most small publishers. So I had to break it out in more managable sizes. Where book I ends with chapter 26, book II picks up with chapter 27. I haven't landed on how I want to roll out book III yet.. (We've been working on the audiobook for Queen Cinder which will be release any day now.) I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was fun to explore these fairy tales. As for how I write... writing is actually the last part of the process, there is a lot of plotting out and pre-planning and research, but getting all of that done up front makes the actual sit down and write part easier! Thanks!

Hi- There is certainly enough material, notes and such I have to do the third book. and it was always planned for three books. However the 3rd book would not be a direct continuation or rely on the story setup on in the first 2 books.. so Book I &II complete the story ... book III, some short stories, a new ebook, and audiobooks (which are going to sound amazing!) are all in the works! Unfortunately it's takes a lot of time for 1 person (me). Thanks for asking! Glad to hear you like my story... please feel free to leave a review!

Hi! my book is a fairy tale epic fantasy. Think "Brothers Grimm" meets "Lord of the Rings". The plot goes like this: General Snow White and her army of dwarven resistance fighters must band together with other fairy tale heroes like Rapunzel, Golidilocks and Red Riding Hood and others to stop the tyrannical, evil Queen Cinderella, from inadvertently starting a war with Wonderland. At the center of this is a young castle servant girl named Patience Muffet who carries with her the last remnants of the fabled Glass Slippers, along with a dark secret of who killed the last of the Fairy God Mothers. Book I is Queen Cinder. Book II is Queen Alice. Thanks for the question. I hope that helps!

For Shards of the Glass Slipper.. well, I've always love fairy tales and Alice And Wonderland, as well as the Epic Fantasy and Dungeons & Dragons that I've grown up reading. I did a lot of research into the original fairy tales and was able to weave a cohesive narrative that incorporated a lot of my favorite fairy tales.. I started working on developing the story as far back as 2006. the manuscript was finished until about 2010 and finally landed with a publisher a year later, after some work it was published in March of 2012.

I'm an artist, first and foremost and every art has a story behind it, so in that regard I've always been inspired to write. Certainly Dungeon & Dragons inspired me. But also I want to inspire my aspiring writer friends, that if I could write and publish a book maybe they could as well. To date, that last part hasn't happened yet, though I'm still hopeful.

I enjoy meeting people at conventions and being able to talk with them and hopefully encourage them in their endeavors. It's fun to be a guests at conventions and talk on panels. but it's great to sign a book for a future fan. I even had to sign someone's kindle!

The more you plot and plan ahead of time for your story the easier it will be to write; make a plan and stick to it. Finish whatever you are writing. It's worse to have something not completed. Don't over research "the art of writing" or any thousands of tip and tricks for writing. You have to start actually writing at some point.

I'll switch gears and work on artwork.... maybe something related to the book and it tends to work itself out. Best thing to do is just step away and do something completely unrelated to writing for a few days, and then when you least expect it.. everything suddenly clicks and writer's block is gone!
