Hey Stephanie! Great question! As a woman of many crafts, I find myself pulled in many directions from church, work, family, painting, writing, to working out, and so much more. I don't write every day. Some weeks I don't write at all. But I'm always thinking about my books and taking notes in my phone or notebook. When I do write, I can go for hours. In my large writing sessions, I average about 5k words. In my short sessions, it's around 2k. On really short spurts, like waiting at the doctor's office, I write 100-500 words.
