Oh, I've been known to cry, moan, get headaches. I do go out and work in the yard or garden. That helps. Get out of the house, do something different. That helps. Wait. Read. update my journal (that's writing and will sometimes trigger it). I do not deal well with writer's block.

Write. Every day. Write trash, write horrible things, write stuff you don't even want to read the next day. But write. And soon it won't be trash. It won't be horrible, and you'll look at it and say -- that's not bad, if I do say so myself.
And when you're not writing, read. Everything. why do you like it? Why don't you like it? Is it well written? Is it good reading? Just read.
