Thank you for asking, Rebecca! I have two moments to be honest. My first favorite part is the moment before the writing begins… when everything is still possible.
When the story is just a feeling, a spark, and it could become anything. The possibilities, you know?
The second moment is when I hit a shift, when I’m actually writing, and something clicks. The characters stop feeling like ideas and start feeling like people, with their own needs and voices.
At that point, it doesn’t feel like I’m creating them anymore. It feels like I’m just… listening.
Like I’m their ghostwriter, trying to keep up with what they want to say. I get goosebumps just thinking about it!
