Hey I read Hexed about a month ago and I really love it.Once I got it in my hands I couldn't put it down.So what was your inspiration for the book?
Michelle Krys Hi there! So glad you liked Hexed :) I got the idea when my sister was tossing around title options for a book she was thinking about writing. One of the titles gave me an idea for a book of my own, and Hexed was born!

is there going to be a third book in the witch hunter series??
Michelle Krys Right now Charmed is the last book in the series, though I'd definitely be up for writing more if there was a demand :)

I really, REALLY want to read your book. That is why I entered your giveaway and I am crossing my fingers to win. I have bugged and bugged to buy your book, but sadly, I am in the hole to my parents, about 50$. Can't wait to get your book, HOPEFULLY, soon. QUESTION: Why and how did you come up with the idea of the story?
Michelle Krys Aww thank you! I'll cross my fingers for you. To answer your question, I got the idea for Hexed from my twin sister, who is also a writer. One day she told me about an adult historical novel she wanted to write, which she planned to call The Witch Hunter's Bible. I LOVED the title, and it gave me all sorts of ideas for a young adult novel about a popular teen cheerleader drawn into a war between witches and sorcerers (totally different from my sister's idea, don't worry!). When my sister later decided to ditch her idea and write something else, I asked her if she would mind if I stole her awesome title for my book. She agreed, and I got to work writing HEXED! (The title obviously changed later in the publication process :)

Would you possibly consider making The Witch Hunter a proper series (more than a dulogy)? Because I just finished Hexed and I think it was fantastic and deserves to become a full blown series with a bunch of books.
Michelle Krys Thank you! I'm so glad you liked Hexed. To answer your question, I would love to write more books in The Witch Hunter series, but my publisher needs to buy them first. So feel free to contact Delacorte Press and ask for more Hexed books!

Where can I get the short story Blackwood? I've tried on my nook and Barnes&Noble.com and nothing comes up. P.s. I LOVED Hexed so I desperately need Blackwood right now....
Michelle Krys I'm so glad you enjoyed Hexed! Unfortunately, Blackwood doesn't come out until April 2015, a month before Charmed's release. BUT! I do have another short story in the Hexed world in the works that I hope to post free to Wattpad very soon :)

Hi. I read youre book yesterday(swallowed it in one sitting) and love it. Its equal parts scary,and funny. Why a dulogy and not a trilogy?I just love hexed and the world so much, and would love to get more than one more book in this universe. Then again, you never know you might write novellas and short stories in the same universe? Smiles hope fully,with pleading eyes. Love, Oda Renate
Michelle Krys Hi there! Thanks so much for your kind words about Hexed--so glad you enjoyed it! To answer your question, Hexed is a duology because that's what my publisher bought. I have a ton of ideas for a third book though and would love to write more in the series, so go tell Random House Children's Books you want more and who knows? Maybe it'll happen ;) (There's also a short story called Blackwood that's based in the Hexed world coming out in October :) )
