David Logan I would travel to Robinson Crusoe's island and open a nightclub called Friday's for singles.
David Logan I was half way through a book when I heard about the Terry Pratchett prize, which meant I had to change the story to make it fit. And I didn't have much time. I jigsawed a new book idea onto the preexisting on. 'Half Sick of Shadows' won the prize (half of it, actually). Readers get two books Frankensteined into one, and almost nobody knows what it's about because they haven't read Tennyson's Lady of Shalott.
David Logan Usually, I just look in mirrors and get the giggles.
