Just finished editing the final version of my next book, an unusual detective story for young readers, to be published later this year . . . and now, for some research on a sequel . . .

I focus on another part of the story I am writing, then go back to the point where I got stuck. If that doesn't help, I explore some of the characters by creating a background story on one of them - it can be anything, even not related to the main story.
