L. Frank Baum's "Oz" comes to mind. I would travel there, mainly, to explore the many mysteries surrounding Oz, many that we have yet to read about. I would definitely try to get Dorothy back to Kansas.

I plan on reading Paula Hawkins' new thriller, "Into the Water," as well as Stephen King's upcoming release, "Gwendy's Button Box." Be sure to catch my reviews of both books on Goodreads this summer.

My own bouts with clairvoyance have led me to write "The Paranormal Investigator" series. As a writer, I finally decided to adhere to the old adage that said, "write what you know." It seemed to work for me, though I was skeptical. Also, I don't necessarily subscribe to the idea that fiction writers must use every detail of their lives to write fiction. I never did. Fiction is fiction. We as authors lend minor personal traits to our characters such as their way of speaking, their personal habits, favorite sayings, etc. But rarely should any writer base their fiction upon a real life situation. Remember, it's fiction, and you must fill an entire book with the subject matter.

My favorite fictional couple is Agatha Christie's Tommy and Tuppence because they compliment each other perfectly. They seem to know each other's thoughts. They work well together, and their love comes across through their actions, not their words, through ambiguity and subtle hints.

Well, I took a facebook poll a few years back, and most of my readers expressed an interest in UFO's. It's interesting that people today find UFO's to be classified as "paranormal" not "Science Fiction," as they were not long ago. My publisher also wants to see my investigators take on this subject. So, in Book 5 of the series, my investigators will have their encounter with this growing, fascinating subject.

I don't. I just write. We as writer's don't have the time to wait to be inspired by something. It's just a matter of sitting down, and writing, and seeing what you come up with. If we waited for an idea to reach us, our ideas would be sparse and limited.

I'm currently working on the fifth book in my series "The Paranormal Investigator." It is as yet, untitled.

Write and write always. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. You can.

Being able to go wherever I want to go, write anything I want, and creating a story structured enough that it eventually takes off its own. It great to see how that happens.

I walk away from the computer and immerse myself in something else. It always comes to me later.
