On a road trip, I came upon a trail of historical monuments, which led to the local museum, which led to a spurt of reading about the amazing history in question. This was right in the region where I grew up, and it was history I'd never-ever learned in school! I knew there were kids like the young me who'd be psyched to know this very cool stuff -- so I decided to be the storyteller.
