J. Tullos Hennig Hullo yourself!
I do have plans to re-release 'Horseboy', but not sure of the venue at present, still searching. Hoping to pitch it as a possible series. :)

As to it being Wode-verse... hm. It's close to the same timeframe and all. It didn't start out that way, but I suppose it the two timelines do rather flirt with each other, so it isn't impossible.

And man, but I hope these two vague answers help somewhat. My only excuse is that 2019 was just a very arse-over-tit kind of year on several fronts!

Thanks so much for coming along, though.

Cheers, Jeanine
J. Tullos Hennig Hullo!

WYLDINGWODE is due out in 2020, from its new publisher Forest Path Books. (www.forestpathbooks.com) I'm very excited about the changes in store for the series!

And many thanks for alerting me to the contact form hiccup. It looks to be working again... after a bit of cussing at the interface, of course. ;)

Cheers,
Jeanine
J. Tullos Hennig Hullo, Linda!

As you might have heard, the Wode has moved to a new publisher, Forest Path Books. The first four of the series are, as of now, due to release August-November, with WYLDINGWODE due out mid 2020.

The others will be coming out in audio! In fact, WINTERWODE is being released on my Patreon as a serial and should be ready for wide release by the end of this year. The others will follow in 2020.

Lovely to hear from you, and cheers!

J. Tullos Hennig Hullo, Ambra,

I'm so glad you're enjoying the books! Thanks for contacting me.

There will indeed be a fifth book. WYLDINGWODE is due out by the end of 2019. Keep an eye on the blog posts through the Goodreads page here; there's some exciting news in store about what's coming in the next year (and there should be something coming in the next day or so). I'd also like to encourage you to join the mailing list via my website; if it's your cuppa, it's definitely a good way to keep up on happenings.
Again, it's great to hear from you.
Cheers--Jeanine
J. Tullos Hennig Hullo, Abi!
Robyn is just over 6 ft 5 inches, and Gamelyn is about 6 ft.

J. Tullos Hennig Thanks for the lovely compliment about my work, Deanndra, it's very nice to hear from you.

Your question is obviously one from your heart, and neither is it strange. I don't really believe in giving warnings, per se, but I'm certainly willing to offer an explanation as to circumstances. I was once asked a very similar question (long ago and about another work entirely, but I think it applies) as to the realities of relationship dynamics in different cultures and worlds. Some discomfort was expressed with the question "How can you love more than one mate?" My answer was "How can you love more than one child?"

Of course, one can. It is more than possible! I respect your affection for these characters. Believe me I love them, too, yet my respect for Robyn would plummet if he threw John over for anyone... and why would or should he? Like his equally-powerful love of Gamelyn, or Gamelyn's of Marion or John, passion lies in many different, sometimes overlapping aspects. Love is love, in all its myriad guises!

Please consider also that the inhabitants of the Wode books are not only from a different time but, more importantly, from a very different culture than the one we now inhabit. So as a writer of not genre romance but historical fantasy, I have to confess a innate resistance toward many of the romantic tropes assumed with today's culture. I love reading books that challenge my expectations, every writing project I take on is a challenge to both my own skills and expectations... and hopefully I can continue to challenge and excite readers as well!

Thanks again for caring about the Wode, and all the best to you and yours.

J. Tullos Hennig Hullo, Saskia! I just turned in the manuscript for SUMMERWODE, and it looks as if the release date will be late spring/early summer in 2017.
I really appreciate your interest in the Wode books. Cheers!
J. Tullos Hennig Hullo, Jax, and thanks for the very timely question. You see, it was only recently that I asked my publisher the same thing, and was given the good news that they do intend to finish out the series in audio.

Thanks again for your interest. I do hope you enjoy reading Winterwode as much as I did writing it. :)

(And Ross Pendleton's interpretation was indeed wonderful, wasn't it?)
J. Tullos Hennig Thanks, Abi, for the question! I am indeed working on new material. The third Book of the Wode, WINTERWODE is in edits and will be out in the autumn of this year, with two more books to follow. There are several other projects pending, and I'm hopeful that they will be out in the next couple of years.

There is also extra material in the new editions of GREENWODE and SHIREWODE. :)
