Mary Connealy Tiffany, this is so hard. The standard answer has to be...the one I'm working on now. That sounds like a dodge or like a cliche maybe, but the truth is, when you're in the middle of writing a series, I at least, get so deep into the characters, get to know them, enjoy them, and so you feel closest to them, the ones you're working on right now.

And I wanted a family saga. A family with deep roots that were powerful, and yet the family was being challenged and these strong and diverse personalities needed to work together.
Mary Connealy It's trying to do anything else that is the problem for me. Writing is my default activity. People come and pry me out from behind the computer sometimes. Like my children and husband.
