Brian Raif Everyone is going to tell you this one and you’re going to roll your eyes every time you hear it: The best piece of advice I can give you is to write. Don’t talk or read about writing. If you spend a day without writing you have failed at being a writer that day. Any day you do write, YOU’VE SUCCEEDED! Now, as soon as you’re done rolling your eyes, ask yourself one question: Have you written anything today?
Brian Raif I don’t believe writer’s block actually exists. Yes, you are going to have a hard time writing some days, and sometimes you may not do your best work. But, if you’re attempting to become a writer for an audience, it is your duty to provide a service to your readers. A systems administrator, a surgeon, a business manager, or an emergency services professionals all have days where their job is harder to do because they don’t feel inspired to do it. It is commonly called Monday. They pull up their boot straps and get to work.

The best advice I can give you for combating what you’re calling writer’s block is to keep writing. You don’t have writer’s block, you creative mind is sore from being over worked and under trained. Keep writing. It will get easier.
