The Rising Shadows Trilogy was spurred by my childhood obsessions with time travel and Robin Hood, and my current work in progress is more of a twisted tale that's Tarzan-meets-Dr. Moreau's Island set in the Victorian era. Yes, I am excited. ^____^

Ah, writer's block. We meet again, my old foe! There is no perfect recipe for overcoming the block, though I do have a few blog posts on the subject on ashley-townsend.com. But the best way to deal with it is to change your scenery--take a break, breathe the fresh air, read a book, and just clear your head. You never know what will inspire you!

From my own series? Let me count the ways! ^_~ Will Taylor, obviously. His sweetness, kind heart, and desire to be loved just make me want to give him the world. I love watching Sarah grow from an insecure girl who didn't think before she acted, and into a strong and caring woman. And then there's Damien. *sighs* *cries* He definitely snuck up on me, and I did not expect to love him as much as I do. He's one of those characters that you know is good beneath the charming, cocky exterior, if only they would believe it themselves.
