R. Lee Moore With a lot of coffee. Sometimes you just have to force yourself through it, and force yourself to sit down and write. Even if it isn't any good and you have to go back and delete it all, the point is to keep writing, and eventually something will click.
R. Lee Moore A story, or a scene, or even a conversation between two (or more) characters will often just pop into my head at random times. Inspiration comes when you believe in yourself and when you believe in the story you've got inside you.
R. Lee Moore Sit down and write. Write every day. Force yourself if you have to. Write until you finish your first book even if it isn't very good. Then write some more and don't stop. For me, writing isn't something I want to do, it's something I have to do.

At least if I want the voices to quiet down a bit.

Pick a time every day, and just write. Make a schedule for yourself and stick to it.
R. Lee Moore Currently I'm busily working on the sequel to Nightwalker, and a continuation of the greater story I have in mind for the whole world.
R. Lee Moore Nightwalker is actually a very heavy rewrite of something I've been working on for quite a few years. It was originally written out by hand in several spiral notebooks, along with quite a few stories that followed after it.

It's just a world I've thought about, revised and added to for more years than I care to admit. And it's still running around in my head every day.
