For the published book, "A Man Called Stan", I wrote a short story, and people enjoyed it. I then wrote a second and a third story about the same character. Then I realized that they could form the first three chapters of a book, and so was the story born.
For the one in progress, I was travelling through South America and listening to traveller tales, I made up one that was inspired by the setting, and that became a key plot point in the new book.

My second book! Stan was a sketch of a book, whereas this one is a complete and refined product with an intriguing plot.
