Writing isn’t the most challenging part. Since I also paint the illustrations for the book, my biggest hurdle is on the painting side. The story flows naturally as soon as I’ve painted the scene I want to write about.

Since I was a teenager, I have loved Greek mythology, but I wasn’t able to do much with it. I had a story idea that had been living rent-free in my head since then, but I didn’t dare to write or illustrate it. When I turned 45, I decided it was time to give it the attention and love it deserved—and voilà! ;D
