Go for it. Why not. With self publishing these days, anyone can (but not necessarily should) do it. Be sure that you put a good product out though. Not everything is worth it. If you have something out that's not as good as it could be. Try rewriting to improve it. - I may follow my own advice one of these years!

I am currently writing my Swords of B'ajj series. This originally was only one sword and one book, because as a kid, I always wished I could have a sword like Truthseeker. Then I decided I needed a group of them. I turned my childhood fun into the series!
