I am working on a fantasy book called "The Whispers" which is about fairies and magic and dragons and is so much fun to write! It is a young adult/adult fiction book that is adventurous, suspenseful, fun, romantic and very delightful!

My advice is to be true to yourself. Write what you feel and see and don't try to be like everyone else or express your words the way you think someone else would. Draw your own picture of words and don't try to make your picture resemble someone else's.

I don't know if I really get writer's block or not. I write when I want to and don't when I don't want to. I never sit down and try to make myself write or it wouldn't be as good. I believe it has to come from within and it is only better if it is not forced but flows freely.

I get inspired to write from God first and foremost. Almost anything can inspire me though. If I see something or hear something it can inspire me. Sometimes it's nothing at all and I just sit down and write, like I don't know where it is coming from, but it is coming.

I guess you could say I got the idea to write "Forever Dream" from God. I just woke up one morning and had this idea to write about a girl with leukemia that believed she could have a forever dream. From there God inspired me through sermons at church and through friends that had went through illness to write the book the way I did.
