Inspiration seems to find me! Sometimes it will be as simple as driving on the highway or out in my backyard. Whatever triggers the inspiration, I grab my notebook (yes - I'm old-school!) to start to write before I lose the inspiration!

The best thing about being a writer is that I have the opportunity to incorporate places I've been or experiences I've had into my writing to help bring a more human element to it. Writing also helps me escape from the daily stress and provides a calming element to a sometimes hectic life!

I generally walk away from writing for a few days and give my mind a chance to rejuvenate. This usually works and ideas start to flow again.

If you have an idea for a book - do it! Don't put it off. It does take time and discipline but the feeling of accomplishment is fantastic!

I'm currently working on the follow-up to Wicked Game of the Hunter. This will be the 2nd book in this trilogy which I hope to have available in early-2018.
