I am working on a YA novel--new genre for me. Set in the South, as are most of my works, it is the story of a young girl dealing with her mother's descent into madness when her (the mother's) best friend is accused of murder. Loosely based on fact, it is darkly humorous, yet tuggingly poignant. (Title: INVISIBLE GIRL)
