Garrett Leigh No, I don't think so. Unfortunately the Porthkennack series is owned by Riptide and the series has been discontinued.

Hi, I just finished "Slide" and absolutely fell in love with the characters and your writing. I'd really love to continue with the sequel "Rare" but I can't seem to find it available to buy online anywhere. Can you tell me why that is or where I can buy it? :-) Thank you! :)
Garrett Leigh Slide and Rare are out of contract with their original publishers but the second edition will be out October 1st <3

I love your Roads series Ash & Pete are one of my favorite couples of all time! My question is regarding the third book in the series Circle is there a plan to make it into an audio book and if so will Michael Lesley narrate? He really did such a wonderful job on the first two books! I didn't know if the change in publishers would impact this process.
Garrett Leigh It definitely impacts the process. Producing audiobooks is rightfully very expensive, and it will take a lot of for planning for me to be able to make this kind of financial investment.

That being said, if I do produce one, there is no other man for the job but Michael Lesley.

Looks like there's lots of great new releases coming to kindle but is there any audio book news? I loved all the Riptide releases with Craig Beck narrating.
Garrett Leigh There is no audio news from my self published books. I'd love Riptide to put Rented Heart into audio, and the Porthkennack books, so feel free to harass them on my behalf! <3

Hi Garrett, You have become one of my favorite authors. The characters you create are amazing and have so much depth, each so unique with their backstories and their struggles make them so relatable and human. I finished reading "Strays", love all the men in this series and was wondering if there will be more in this series? I hope so!

What is your personality like? And does your mood ever effect your writing?
Garrett Leigh I fluctuate between manically focussed and a chaotic procrastination machine. I either write like a fiend, or spend hours on Facebook. I've yet to find a happy medium!

Garrett Leigh It's unlikely, as Joe is heterosexual. Read Rare and you'll see what becomes of him. He is a great guy <3

Dear Garrett Leigh, do you plan to write any more military stories? I just finished Between Ghosts and I just can't have enough. Your writing is superb!!!
Garrett Leigh I'd like to. My only issue is finding the time to do the necessary research. I'd definitely like to explore Marc's character from the Charlie-3 boys <3

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Garrett Leigh Get a cat. They are truly the only creatures who can reason with you when you're lost in a pit of potholes and stilted dialogue. Reasoning being a swipe to the head because you've forgotten to feed them...again.

Garrett Leigh I don't. I have an apocalyptic breakdown every single time...while eating all the biscuits.

Garrett Leigh Until recently, I truly believed Ash and Pete were done, but who knows? I have a gap in my schedule this spring. I'd love to see how far Ash has come.

Hi will there be more books in the only love series?
Garrett Leigh Possibly. I'd love to write more from Max's POV. And I'd love to see Jed truly at peace and using everything he's been through to help other people. Despite his grouchy nature in OL, he's actually rather charismatic and I'd love to see him utilise that.
