Reading generally inspires writing for me. The two most recent books I've read really touched off a solution for a problem area in my WIP.

Well, it's funny. I was at lunch with a friend, who proposed that I "write some smut and make some money". I was appalled! I said I could never write something I didn't care about. Oddly, when I looked back at things I'd written, and sat down to write something I cared about, it turned out to be erotica. The romance was the part that was truly surprising.
