I would choose Pandora from James Cameron’s Avatar universe — a living, breathing world where every tree, creature, and mountain seems connected by a shared consciousness. I wouldn’t go there to conquer or collect samples, but simply to walk under its bioluminescent forests and feel what it means for a planet itself to be alive.
And if I could choose a real world, it would be TRAPPIST-1e — an Earth-sized exoplanet orbiting a cool red dwarf star, perhaps hiding oceans beneath its skies. Between Pandora and TRAPPIST-1e lies the bridge that inspires all my writing: the line where imagination touches reality and science.
Perhaps one day, through space exploration, we’ll find our Pandora-like planet among the stars. I just hope humanity will behave better than in the movies.
